Croatia had been on my bucket list for years, so I was overjoyed to finally arrive in Dubrovnik a few weeks ago. This lovely beach resort in Croatia’s south is a must-see and the country’s most popular tourist destination. This UNESCO heritage site, nestled near the stunning blue Adriatic sea and ornamented by terracotta rooftops, boasts spectacular architecture, a historic city center, and is the principal filming location for the acclaimed HBO series “Game of Thrones.”
